As a business, you want to make sure your online store is easy to navigate and accessible to all potential customers. But, it can be difficult to thoroughly integrate website accessibility if you\u2019re not an experienced web developer. Barriano\u2019s Shopify widget can help make your site more compliant with ADA regulations and WCAG standards. This plugin provides seamless integration of Barriano\u2019s innovative technology to move your Shopify website toward improved ADA and WCAG accessibility compliance levels. Adding the accessibility plugin is quick and easy: do it automatically through the Shopify App Store.<\/p>\n

How to Automatically Install Barriano\u2019s Accessibility Plugin from the Shopify App Store<\/h2>\n

Step 1: Find Barriano in the Shopify Store<\/h3>\n

Search for \u201cBarriano\u201d in the Shopify App Store. Select the \u201cBarriano Website Accessibility\u201d option. Then, select \u201cAdd app,\u201d followed by \u201cInstall app.\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 2: Check Your Email for Your Credentials<\/h3>\n

If this is your first time using the Barriano widget, we will send a welcome email with your Barriano username, password, and code. You can skip this step and use your existing login credentials if you already have an account.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Upgrade for More Features<\/h3>\n

This is the app\u2019s default free version. If you\u2019d like your Shopify website to achieve higher ADA and WCAG compliance standards, you can upgrade to the AI-powered version starting at $49\/month by clicking the green \u201cUpgrade Now\u201d button.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Enable the Widget \u2013 Step 1<\/h3>\n

Click \u201cOpen Theme Editor to enable the widget,\u201d as shown below.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Enable the Widget \u2013 Step 2<\/h3>\n

Toggle the Barriano widget to ON and click \u201cSave.\u201d<\/p>\n

Step 6: Customize Your Widget<\/h3>\n

You can now customize the type, color, size, and position of your Barriano icon. Be sure to click \u201cSave your settings,\u201d or your customizations will not be saved.<\/p>\n

Step 7: Generate an Accessibility Statement<\/h3>\n

To generate an accessibility statement, select the \u201cAccessibility Statement\u201d tab found on the blue and white menu bar at the top of the page. Fill in your details and select \u201cGenerate My Accessibility Statement.\u201d Your accessibility statement will be sent to your email inbox.<\/p>\n

Step 8: Preview Your Website<\/h3>\n

To double-check that everything has been correctly installed and is working properly, preview your website by selecting the eye icon in the left menu.
